Questions, answered

Everything you're wondering

Do I need to be VAT registered to use Fisely?

No — Fisely is built for standard self-employment income and expenses. If you're VAT registered we still track everything, but VAT return filing itself isn't included yet.

I don't have a UTR yet — can I still start?

Yes. Fisely includes a step-by-step guide to registering for Self Assessment and getting your UTR, and you can track income and expenses while you wait for it to arrive.

Is my financial data secure?

Yes. Your UTR, National Insurance number and financial records are encrypted (AES-256) and never shared or sold.

Can I cancel my Pro subscription anytime?

Yes — there's no lock-in contract. Cancel anytime from your billing settings and you'll keep Pro access until the end of your current period.

Does Fisely support Scotland's income tax bands?

Yes — Pro accounts automatically use Scottish income tax bands and rates if that's where you're registered.

Stop paying tax you don't owe

Fisely finds every claim HMRC allows, so you only pay the tax you owe. Free to start, no card needed.
